About Us
Ashanti is a small, Franco-American, family cattery that has been breeding TICA Bengals since 1999. We are currently located near the historic town of Cluny, in the Burgundy region of France. We strongly believe each of our cats is part of the family — and the small number of kittens we produce, are raised in our home during their early weeks, as well as later having access to a large, enclosed, outdoor garden area and heated stone cottage.
Each of our kittens is fully socialized with the aid of our two small children, energetic wire fox terrier and frequent visitors. Our females are pampered pets with daily, individual, hands-on love and attention. They are frequently underfoot in our home, where they can be often found “viewing the world go by” from various window sills or hogging all available space on our beds.
The health and nutrition of our cats is followed closely by a competent veterinarian. We strictly follow a comprehensive vaccination schedule and feed a premium diet composed of human-quality ingredients, only.
