Danica takes our breath away with her amazingly wild looking head, extremely contrasted rosettes, silky plush coat and overall body type.  We are excitedly watching how she develops with hopes of breeding her in 2009  Daughter of Trollspotting Luthien, (and with gratitude to our friend Annette Lerch Troll who gave us her mother) we have named her after a the personification of the Morning Star in Danish mythology. New for 2009 — Ashanti Dharma

Dharma at 5 monthsDharma at 5 monthsDharma at 5 months

Young Dharma (5 months old in these photos) is highly glittered with a plush silky pelt on strong boning with hindquarters higher than forequarters and low tail set.  Her rosettes are jet black and rust on a warm golden yellow background and flow down her body all the way to her knees!  She has a straight profile, domed egg-shaped head, rounded ears, and strong deep chin.  Her personality is extremely easy-going and affectionate.  We look forward to seeing how she continues to develop… Two of her sisters, Darjeeling and Damask, are also hopeful breeding prospects in catteries in Italy and Spain… (View Pedigree)

Ashanti Calypso

Calypso is the world’s mellowest cat. She never stops purring, gives kisses to our dog, is dressed in doll clothes by our young daughter, and is a never-ending joy to watch as she continues to grow and develop. Shown here at 7 months, we love Calypso’s large, random doughnut rosettes, thick, short, low-slung tail, straight profile and VERY small, cupped ears. We will be very excited to see what sort of babies she can produce for us in the Spring of 2008! (View Pedigree)

Lopend Vuur Popscicle

(Click on first thumbnail above to navigate slideshow.)

Popsicle is a sweet, quiet girl who came to us from our good friends, Kirsten and Michael at Lopend Vuur cattery in the Netherlands. She is very wild looking: a pouchy whited belly (hour-glassed now at 3 years, but none-the-less “true adult whited”) reminiscient of the ALC; thick, low set tail, huge nocturnal eyes and an excellent head both in profile and straight on. She is a great mother who produces very friendly, fearless babies. (View Pedigree)

Trollspotting Luthien

Luthien (nicknamed “Lu Lu”) is a gorgeous exotic-looking marble girl from our good friend, Annette, at Trollspotting cattery, in Denmark. Her multi-hued pattern looks like stained glass–with rosettes inside rosettes! Her fur feels like the richest, softest, silkiest velvet. She further has a strong chin, lovely round nocturnal eyes, a nice profile and lots of fore and back skull… Add a long, long body… A thick, low-set tail. AND definite whited expression on her belly! She is an unbelievabely adept communicator and a welcome foot warmer on our bed. We are keeping our fingers crossed that she’ll be able to give us some lovely babies soon! (View Pedigree)

Casarocca Bellona

Bellona is a very welcome girl, coming from a mating between one of our previous stud cats and a very interesting queen (Bungalow Jungle Princess) from our good friend, Marc King of Casarocca Bengals. Bellona has TINY, rounded ears. A very lovely domed skull, huge expressive round eyes and a perfect flowing pattern of tiny pawprint rosettes. She has excellent tail carriage. She is a proven mother, a proven snuggler and a general joy to live with. (View Pedigree)
